Dance and architecture meet in space. Architecture makes the space static, dance creates a dynamic space. Therefor the architecture around the dance is mostly just a static scenery on which the dancers react or where the scenery reacts on the dancers. Transformation as Inspiration starts from the dynamic architectural spaces, spaces in movement: building plots. Building plots are in their transformation a move between position A and position B, a dance in architecture, sometimes with big movements (cranes, bulldozer,...) sometime with detailed gestures (pincer, hammer,...) The dynamic of a building plot is the dancers’ inspiration.
The performances were made at site, 2 hours before the performance, by the use of improvisation.
