Soundpiece o9-13
From 2oo9 until 2o13, David Dooghe has been appointed as curator of Soundpiece, with the task to reinstall the sound installation and connect it to the cultural life of Rotterdam. Since that time, the installation got an Internet connection and an XLR plug-in point at the square, greatly enlarging its possibilities for use. Furthermore, many cultural institutions, festivals, sound artists or others used the installation. During the years the installation has become part of life on the square.
